Mit hozott a Jézuska? That will be the standard question Hungarian people ask their relatives in the coming few days.
Jézuska is a diminutive form of Jesus, just like any other Hungarian name, Katika, Balázska, Józsika or Danika.

The nightmare of young parents is what to tell their children concerning why they get gifts, on what ground and most importantly who they get it from.
In most European countries it’s the enigmatic Father Christmas, Old Man Frost, Daddy Christmas or Santa Claus, alternatively Santa Klaus.
Santa Klaus is out of the question here, since he comes on December 6 to remember Saint Nicholas. At Christmas we are left with Baby Jesus = Jézuska, a form that exists only in Hungarian, Slovak (Ježiško) and Czech (Ježišek), if I got it right.

To cut a long story short I am intrigued to know what you tell your children (and until what age) who brings the Christmas Gift that you had so much fuss about before Christmas.
